фин., межд. эк. международная резервная система (часть международной валютной системы, необходимость которой обусловлена тем, что использование бумажных, или кредитных, денег в международных расчетах при отсутствии внутренней стоимости зависит от наличия у них свойства всеобщей приемлемости; образована из резервных активов центральных банков и Международного валютного фонда, которые могут использованы странами для оплаты своих международных обязательств, и механизма взаимного кредитования центральными банками друг друга напрямую и через МВФ в случае временной недостаточности резервных активов)
